Family Villas in Spain to Rent

Family and child-friendly villas across four Spanish regions — hand-picked, family-run since the early 2000s.

Family villas in Spain to rent across four regions — the Costa Brava, the Costa Blanca, Mallorca and Menorca. Prestige Villas Spain is a small, family-run agency that started in the early 2000s with a single family villa in Javea on the Costa Blanca, and grew from there. Every villa on this site is one we know personally, inspected locally and represented directly — booked with us, not through an aggregator.

Why families book villas in Spain with Prestige

When families choose villa holidays in Spain, the two things that matter most are trust and transparency. Most agencies list stock they've never visited; ours doesn't. The price you see on the villa page is the price you pay — no aggregator commission, no booking fees layered on at checkout, no surprise charges mid-stay. If your children need particular reassurance about a villa's layout, the pool, the road access or the walk to the beach, we can tell you first-hand rather than parroting what an owner has written.

What makes a villa family friendly

Not every villa in Spain suits every family — that's an honest answer we prefer to a marketing one. Most of the villas across the Prestige portfolio have a private pool, and many are large enough for grandparents, adult siblings and children to stay under one roof without treading on each other. Some sit within walking distance of a village or beach; others are quieter and more rural, better suited to families with older children who won't mind the ice-cream shop being a short drive away. Rather than list every property in this paragraph, tell us who's coming and we'll shortlist family villas in Spain that genuinely fit — a five-minute email or WhatsApp conversation, not a booking form.

Also worth a look: villas with a private pool, large villas sleeping ten or more, or the full Spanish villa collection.

Regional shape — which part of Spain suits which family

For families with young children, the Costa Brava fishing villages — Tamariu, Llafranc and Calella de Palafrugell — are easy on parents. Walkable villages, calm sea, short strolls between villa, sand and supper. Menorca sits alongside as the quieter Balearic option, with short transfer times and gentle beaches. The Costa Blanca around Javea, where the agency began, tends to suit families with older children and teenagers — beaches, watersports and enough happening for two weeks. Mallorca gives the widest choice of villa sizes and pool sizes across a compact island, and works well for larger family groups.

Booking a family villa in Spain — the practicals

Enquire by contact form, WhatsApp or phone. We'll shortlist child-friendly villas in Spain based on group size, ages and region preference, then answer whatever questions you have about the property before you commit. Bookings are made direct with Prestige Villas Spain — reserve with a deposit and pay the balance ten weeks before travel. No hidden fees, no third-party call centres, no surprise mid-stay charges.

Tell us who's coming, when, and where you're leaning — we'll shortlist family-suitable villas that genuinely fit and answer whatever questions you have before you commit.

Which villas in Spain are best for families with young children?

The Costa Brava fishing villages — Tamariu, Llafranc and Calella de Palafrugell — tend to be the easiest with under-fives. Short walks between villa, beach and restaurants, calm swimming water and small local shops within reach. Menorca sits alongside for the same reasons. Tell us your children's ages and we'll shortlist properties that specifically suit the group.

Are the pools private or shared?

Most villas in the Prestige portfolio have their own private pool. A small number of apartments and townhouses share a community pool — the villa page for each property makes it clear which is which. Ask us before booking if pool arrangement is a deciding factor.

Are the pools fenced or gated for young children?

Some villas have fenced or gated pools, others do not. Because pool safety features vary property by property, we always ask if there are children under swimming age in the party and confirm the arrangement before you commit. Please raise this on your enquiry — we'd rather have that conversation up front than leave it to chance.

Can multiple families book villas near each other?

Yes. Several destinations have clusters of properties within a few minutes of one another — we regularly arrange this for extended family reunions, milestone birthdays and multi-generational holidays. Give us the total party size, ages and preferred region and we'll show what's realistic on your dates.

Are cots, high chairs and travel beds provided?

This is property-dependent. Some villas include cots and high chairs as standard; others can arrange hire locally at cost. Ask us before booking and we'll confirm exactly what's available at each shortlisted villa so nothing is a surprise on arrival.

What's included in the price? Are there hidden fees?

The price you see is the price you pay. Bookings are made direct with Prestige — no aggregator commission, no per-booking fees layered on at checkout, and no surprise mid-stay charges. Where cleaning or towel changes carry an extra cost (some properties, not all), that appears clearly on the villa page before you book.

How far in advance should families book for the summer holidays?

For July and August, six to nine months is sensible if you have fixed school dates and a specific region in mind. Larger family villas book earliest — the biggest properties for extended families typically go before Christmas for the following summer. Outside of school holidays, four to six weeks is usually enough.

Can we book direct instead of through Booking.com or Airbnb?

Yes — that's the whole model. Every villa on this site is booked direct with Prestige Villas Spain, a family-run agency renting villas since the early 2000s. You get a named contact, first-hand knowledge of the property and no third-party markup.
