Villa Megin: Four-Bedroom Villa with Sea Views in Tamariu

This stylish Tamariu villa enjoys a truly privileged position. Perched on an elevated hillside above the Mediterranean, Villa Megin overlooks a picturesque panorama of pine trees, the picture-postcard village of Tamariu, and the sparkling Mediterranean Sea.

Careful craftsmanship and thoughtful design let the villa sit naturally within its attractive hillside surroundings. The house is designed to maximise the views, sunshine, and outdoor space, with bright interiors opening directly onto the terraces, enclosed garden, and private swimming pool.

When we first visited Villa Megin, we were struck by the clever use of the outside space. Guests can relax in the sunshine beside the generously sized private pool, enjoy the open terraces or sit beneath the covered terrace for a long lunch in the shade.

The interiors are every bit as impressive as the exterior. The open-plan living space and all four bedrooms have a clean, stylish finish, giving families and groups a comfortable villa base for a holiday in one of the Costa Brava's most attractive coastal villages.

Open-Plan Living with Mediterranean Views

The ground floor features a bright open-plan lounge and dining area with comfortable seating, a dining table, and doors that open directly onto the terraces and garden. The elevated position and large outdoor areas make the Mediterranean Sea and surrounding pine trees a natural part of the setting.

Entertainment facilities include a flat-screen television, DVD player and satellite television with a limited selection of English-language channels. Wi-Fi is included, making the main living area a comfortable place to relax between days at the beach and time around the private pool.

Fully Equipped Kitchen and Dining Space

The kitchen includes an oven, hob, microwave, and fridge-freezer, with dining facilities alongside the main living area. The open-plan arrangement keeps cooking, meals, and time together in the same bright space.

Doors from the lounge and dining area lead directly onto the terraces and garden, making it easy to move between indoor meals and the shaded alfresco dining area throughout the day.

Four Bedrooms and Three Bathrooms

Villa Megin sleeps up to eight guests across two double bedrooms and two twin bedrooms. The bedrooms are arranged over the ground and first floors, giving families and groups a useful combination of shared living space and separate sleeping areas.

Ground-Floor Double Bedroom

The ground floor has one double bedroom with its own en-suite shower room. A separate WC with a toilet and basin is also located on this level, together with the washing machine.

Three First-Floor Bedrooms

The first floor has two twin bedrooms and a second double bedroom. The double bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom, while the two twin rooms share a separate family bathroom with a bath and shower.

All three first-floor bedrooms have air conditioning for heating and cooling. This is available for an additional charge of €150 per week and must be booked and paid for in advance.

Private Pool, Terraces and Enclosed Garden

The private swimming pool measures approximately 8m x 4m and has Roman steps leading into the water. Open terrace space surrounds the pool, giving guests plenty of room to enjoy sunny days at the villa.

A covered terrace provides welcome shade for alfresco dining, while the open terraces, lawn and enclosed garden create several different places to sit and relax throughout the day. The combination of sunshine, shaded seating, sea views and outdoor dining space is one of Villa Megin's strongest features.

Tamariu Village and Beach

Tamariu village and beach are around a ten-minute walk from Villa Megin, making it easy to combine relaxed days around the private pool with time beside the sea, meals in the village and evenings along the waterfront.

Other nearby places to visit include the medieval hilltop town of Begur, the coastal village of Llafranc, Pals, and Aiguablava.
