Wonderful ocean views and bright, contemporary accommodation await you at this immaculately presented coastal home, which enjoys a stunning location on the gently sloping hillside that rises up from Galicia’s most southerly stretch of coastline.
From the moment we stepped through the entrance gates, this Galicia villas advantageous position was immediately apparent. Stretching out before us, beyond a generously proportioned pool, a covered terrace and smart lawns, the deep blue waters of the nearby sea glistened invitingly as they spread out ahead to meet the horizon.
It is this absorbing vista that will greet guests waking up in the principal bedroom suite from where both the double bed and a light-flooded sitting area look through floor-to-ceiling windows onto the idyllic martime scene of seemingly endless ocean. A wrap around balcony adjoins both this and the twin bedroom whilst downstairs in the living room the same airy ambience and sea views prevail thanks to more glass facades and an up-to-date colour scheme of subtle neutrals.
Overlooking the coast in-between the charming waterfront towns of Baiona and A Guarda, this is an ideal location for those wishing to explore what must be one of Iberia’s most beautiful and unspoilt shorelines. The nearest beach is just 4km away at Oia where an arc of golden sand is overlooked by a beautiful stone monastery and a smart restaurant with ocean front terraces. Alternatively, those wishing not to rely on a car for dining out and basic amenities will be delighted to discover that a small shop is just 700m away, whilst the nearest restaurant is 300m from the house.
